Mosaic Knitting

This is a great introduction to creating colorful knits while working with one color at a time. All you need is two contrasting colors of yarn to learn how to use this slip stitch method to make beautiful patterns. Supplies: Needles: Size 7 or 8 (4.5mm or 5mm) 24 inch needles Yarn: Two contrasting colors of DK or Worsted weight yarn. The scarf shown here was made with 400 yards (200 yards of each color). It measures 48" by 8". I recommend getting extra yarn if you want to make the scarf longer. I used Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt: color 6324 (blue heather) and color 5575 (navy blue).

Fixing Mistakes in Knitting

It usually happens right after you leave class or start knitting on your own. This class will give you the skills to rescue a dropped stitch, create a clean selvage, and how to insert a lifeline. Cost: $30
